It has easily been over a decade since I have built a site. I like sharing thoughts about things that I like. Social media has simplified how I share, but I find that the platforms allow me to share too simply, too generically, or too camouflaged. So here we are trying out new things. Simply for the joy of learning, creating, and sharing. I have had this web domain for a long time, initially as a photography portfolio, then as a site to link to my DJ mixes and songs. It was never meant to drive traffic, more of a place to point people to when they wanted to see or hear my stuff. It was quite a bit of effort to keep updated, and I did not have a lot of time, so I am experimenting with tools to streamline design and content. Sharing my journey here… Starting with WordPress. Would love any tips.
